Thank you for choosing the Mselect3E capacity selection software for Panasonic digital 
AC servo motors.

This software selects the capacities of Panasonic MINAS series digital AC servo motors.
This software can also select options and capture CAD data at the same time.

This software selects motor capacity using a method of combining mechanical elements.
Applicable elements have been increased greatly for more accurate combination in
calculation.
Available options can also be displayed immediately based on the motor capacity 
selection results of your choices.
At the same time, it is also possible to capture the CAD data of the motor selected.


+ Minimum requirements for operation

  Personal computer
  - DOS/V
  - CPU: Equivalent to Pentium 500 MHz
  - RAM: 128 MB
  - Hard drive free space: 100 MB
  - OS:  Windows 2000(English) SP4, or Windows XP(English) SP2

  Display
  - 1024 x 768 (SVGA)
  - 256 colors or more

  Note: However, meeting the above requirements does not guarantee correct operation
        on all personal computers.
  Note: If hardware other than the minimum recommended is used, correct operation
        should be verified by users.

+ Installation method

   * If this software has already been installed, be sure to uninstall it before
     beginning reinstallation.
   * Mselect Ver. 2, the previous version of the motor capacity selection software,
     can also be used at the same time.

   # Installation of downloadable version

     Run the downloaded compressed file (self-extracting type) "Mselect3E_Setup.EXE"
     to extract it into a proper folder, and run "setup.exe".
     Follow the installer instructions.

   # Installation of CD-ROM version

     Run "Setup.EXE" in the folder "Motor capacity selection software".
     Follow the installer instructions.


+ Uninstallation method

   * Follow these procedures to uninstall the motor capacity selection software:

   - Click Start/Settings/Control panel, and select "Mselect3E" from the
     "Add/Remove Programs". Click "Delete" button.


+ Notice
   * To capture the CAD data, you need to install the "CAD Data (powerPARTS)"
     included in the CD-ROM.

     If the downloadable version is used, Ver. 13 of our product, "Design
     support data collection" (CD-ROM: 2D/3D CAD data/servo capacity selection
     software,and others) is necessary.
     Please order it from us as necessary.
